Figure 3: provenance and reading

The contact sheet preserves the original selected images and overlays. It is diagnostic illustration. Its selected frames do not establish that the model head is fault-free or verify a completed lap.

The nine camera panels are G2 drive 8, cruise-on September 10, 2026, at 23:18:21.51 local time, sampling 7.9–15.5 seconds afterward. The heatmap shows tape scores; white dots show retained row centres; cyan text labels a selected goal; red bars show steering requests. These are model outputs, not independent ground truth.
The green loop at +10.7 seconds was interpolated by the sheet script. The controller's source frame n5261 carried a straight-line fit (fit_deg=1).
At n5257 (+10.53 seconds), eleven retained rows but six voting rows yielded a straight fit, and commanded curvature weakened from −1.6571 to −0.8715 1/m. Flight-controller servo-output telemetry at n5259 changed from 1825 to 1642 µs. Telemetry records the controller's electrical output, not actual wheel angle.
At n5275 (+11.72 seconds), an eight-row goal changed sign, but the minimum-row gate held the previous request.
The right-hand overhead panel is not a verified paired outcome for those camera frames. Its label names run 35: 233° sweep, 0.193 m RMS, and 0.276 m maximum deviation. The header instead quotes run 36: 238°, 0.155 m RMS and 0.214 m maximum deviation. Both overhead rows exist at different start times.
Blue is physical tape, yellow the grader's fitted loop, and green its tracked vehicle path. The spatially varying scale remains a measurement limit. Neither panel proves a completed lap.

This provenance was checked against the G2 control log, subsequent matrix replay and independent review. The underlying G2 run is outside the accompanying two-run dataset. No new physical trial or regrade is claimed here.
